Arzac Advances AIS Project with Successful CDR Workshop

Arzac Engineering Sdn Bhd successfully hosted a Critical Design Review (CDR) Workshop from 14 to 17 April 2026 at Le Méridien Putrajaya. The four-day workshop marked a key milestone in the ongoing AIS System Upgrade project, bringing together stakeholders, technical experts, and project partners to review and validate the proposed system design.

The CDR Workshop focused on ensuring that all system components, integrations, and operational requirements are fully aligned before proceeding to the implementation phase. Throughout the sessions, detailed discussions were conducted on system architecture, data integration, and workflow processes, ensuring the design meets both technical standards and operational expectations.

Key areas covered during the workshop included aeronautical data management, NOTAM handling, system connectivity, and integration with external platforms such as SWIM infrastructure and flight planning systems. The workshop also addressed disaster recovery strategies, data center considerations, and overall system readiness to support continuous and reliable operations.

In addition, participants reviewed user workflows and system functionalities to ensure that the upgraded AIS system will enhance efficiency, accessibility, and data accuracy for end users. Collaborative sessions allowed stakeholders to provide feedback, resolve technical considerations, and refine system specifications.
